  • MAKE STAB-BOUND JOURNALS

    Saturday, May 23
    9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

You will make four unique journal notebooks using four different Japanese “stab” binding styles; including tortoise-shell, hemp-leaf, and a contemporary stick binding. Use these notebooks on trips or treks, for garden notes or kitchen recipes, or as special occasion memory keeper. A joy to keep or give! Easy step-by-step instructions taught by Val Bembenek, local papermaker and book artist. All tools and materials will be provided, no previous bookbinding experience needed. A $10 materials fee will be payable to the instructor. Limit 10. $95, $80 members
