Explore Tucson Botanical Gardens Tour
Fridays, 9 a.m. Free with admission This delightful morning tour offers a brief history of the Gardens, familiarizes guests with our native flora and showcases the wide variety of plants that grow successfully in Tucson.
Twilight – Birds and Gardening Tour
First & Fourth Thursday, Monthly 6:30 pm Free with admission Learn about the various plants and gardening practices that can attract birds to your backyard while exploring your own bird garden, where you’ll discover many species common to Tucson’s urban environment.
Urban Tree Tour
Fourth Thursday, monthly June 25, July 23, Aug. 27 9 a.m. Free with admission The Gardens is home to 75 different species of trees, many of which have been growing here for decades. This tour introduces some of the most common trees found in Tucson’s urban landscape and shares techniques on how to successfully choose and care for trees at home.
Tucson Botanical Gardens is pleased to offer audio tours to help visitors explore our garden spaces. MP3 players are available for check-out in the Gardens’ Gift Shop, or you can access the tours on your own smart phone or other mobile device. Relax and listen as these virtual tour guides take you back in time and across cultures to explore the many connections between plants, people and water.
