Current Open Positions:

 

Director of Finance/Controller

 

This director position oversees and manages the financial and accounting functions of Tucson Botanical Gardens in order to provide timely and accurate financial statements for the Executive Director, the board of directors, and outside agencies as needed.  

A list of duties and responsibilities will be provided to candidates chosen to interview for this position.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Public Administration and at least five years of financial management experience with non-profit organizations or an equivalent combination (10+yrs) of education and/or experience.  Working knowledge of accrual basis accounting, financial reporting and payroll procedures.  Experience supervising others.  Knowledge of principles, concepts and practices of non-profit fiscal management systems.  Skilled in analysis and interpretation of financial data. Knowledge of accounting software application Sage/MIP as well as MS Word and MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of grant requirements and compliance. Prior experience with Capital Campaigns.
