Dog Days of Summer
June to Aug. during Garden hours
We’re once again celebrating Dog Days of Summer by opening our gates to leashed dogs. New this year, we’re inviting your canine companions every day of the week! Guests are welcome to bring their well-behaved dogs to enjoy our Urban Oasis in the Heart of Tucson.
Dog Admission $3 per dog per visit or purchase a Dog Membership for $20
For $20 you’ll receive:
- Unlimited daily admission for your dog during the summer months (June through August) Regular dog admission is $3 per visit, making this a $215 savings!
- A special canine membership card with ring that can be attached to any collar or leash.
- Additional dog members may be added for only $10 each.

Dog Portraits in the Gardens

Take advantage of this opportunity to have professional photos taken of your beloved companion in the Gardens’ lush landscape. Professional photographer Vicki Stromee generously donates her time to the Gardens each year to make this fun event a fundraiser for the Gardens.
Includes both digital and hard copy photos as well as Garden Admission for both you and your furry friend.
$10 for one pose
$15 for two poses
No reservation required.
Early Bird Weekends
Every Saturday and Sunday, June to Aug.
Starting at 6:30 a.m.
The Gardens will open its gates starting at 6:30 a.m. for morning walkers to enjoy the garden setting and a little exercise before it gets too hot! Admission is suggested donation only until 7:30 a.m. After 7:30 a.m. $9 adults, $5 children, members are free.
Breakfast at Cafe Botanica
6:30 a.m.-11 a.m.
After a lovely walk, breakfast at Café Botanica is a must. Menu items include a variety of homemade dishes, including items made with fresh veggies and herbs from the Garden and other high quality, locally sourced ingredients.
Twilight Thursdays & Sunset Saturdays
June to Aug. 5 to 8 p.m.
$9 Adults, $5 children 4-12, Free to members
Enjoy summer nights at the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Every Thursday night during the summer and the fourth Saturday (June 27, July 25, Aug. 22), we’ll stay open until 8 p.m. for guests to enjoy the lovely garden setting without the intense summer sun. Café Botanica will be open and serving dinner form 5pm-8pm (BYO beer and wine only). Guests are welcome to bring in their own dinner and picnic in the Gardens. Please note that this summer, Sunset Saturdays will not include a cash bar or live band each Saturday. We will resume the usual format next year.

Join us for a weeklong exploration of the interactions between human with plants, and the ways both impact one another. In exploring the many exhibits of the Gardens, campers will gain a renewed appreciation for nature in a shady and tranquil setting.
Campers will learn about Sonoran Desert ecology; conduct experiments to understand how plants work; practice caring for a garden and preparing healthy meals; express creativity with nature photography, painting and journaling; and play games and have fun in nature. Register now. Camps are limited to 25 persons per session, and fill up quickly.
Tucson Garden Railway Kids Club
Fourth Saturday, monthly

9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Join the Tucson Garden Railway Society on the last Saturday of the month during the summer for train-themed fun!
