Blooms & Bites A Silent Auction of Garden Art and Food & Wine Tasting Friday, April 27, 5 to 8 p.m. $50 per person Over the years Tucson Botanical Gardens has held a garden art silent auction with names such as Art al fresco, Art in Bloom and Art in the Gardens. After a four year hiatus and many Tucsonans and garden members encouraging us to bring back this event, we’ve decided to do it, with a new name and a new twist. Meander the Gardens on Blooms & Bites night with a bit of food and a sip of wine while you view and bid on the fabulous work of local and regional artists as well as dazzling specialty items from local retailers and landscape designers. Bid on some of your favorites and at the nights’ end, if you’re lucky, you’ll go home with a wonderful addition to your outdoor space.
