Gardens 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. , Butterfly Magic, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (October through April)
Open seven days a week, year round, except July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day and New Year’s Day.

Oct. thru Apr. $13 Adults | $12 Student/Senior/Military | $7.50 Children 4-12 (included entrance to Butterfly Magic)

May thru Sept. $8 Adults | $7 Student/Senior/Military | $4 Children 4-12

Children 3  and under and Members are always free!

Historical Gardens

 

Historical Gardens features many trees and shrub commonly planted in Tucson during the 1930s, 40s and 50s – including olive, myrtle, and dwarf citrus.

Zen Garden, a quiet haven for reflection and peaceful contemplation.

Sensory Patios

Sensory Patios offers a place to visit, relax and explore. Each patio is themed with plants and accessories that invite you to use all five senses.

Cactus & Succulent Gardens

 

Cactus and Succulent Garden features cacti from the southwestern states, Mexico, and South America, plus hardy Old and New World succulents.

Xeriscape Garden

Native American Crops Garden

 

The Native Crops Garden displays traditional crops from the southwestern U.S. and Mexico with an emphasis on plants grown by the Tohono O’odham.

Plants of the Tohono O’odham path honors the relationship between native peoples and the plants of the Sonoran Desert.

Children’s Discovery Garden

Children’s Discovery Garden takes you on a journey through the life cycle of a plant.

Nuestro Jardin

Nuestro Jardin honors Tucson’s traditional Mexican-American neighborhood gardens with a charming and colorful display of flowers, trees, herbs, and objects commonly seen in barrio gardens.

Butterfly Garden

 

Butterfly Garden displays a variety of seasonal plants that attract regional butterflies.

Wildflower Garden

Backyard Bird Garden

 

Backyard Bird Garden show how to attract birds the natural way. Watch for hummingbirds, cardinals, and quail year-round.

Iris Garden

 

Don’t miss the Iris Garden in April when it’s in full bloom.  You will see a spectacular display of color and varitey of bearded iris.

Shade Garden / Prehistoric Garden

 

Shade Garden will give you ideas about regional plants that are appropriate for shady spots.

Garden Railway

 

Watch the train as it winds through a miniature town. Hear it chug and whistle as you stroll around the Gardens. (Operation subject to weather and other conditions).
