The Tucson Botanical Gardens’ ever-popular Summer Oasis Series is back for 2017! Extended hours, Dog Days and the cool of the desert evening, you’ll find everything you need to survive the summer at your Urban Oasis in the Heart of Tucson!
Back for 2017:
- Twilight Thursdays and Frida Fridays: Every Thursday and Friday evening the Gardens will remain open to 8 p.m. for guests to relax after the heat of the day. - Dog Days of Summer: Access for your canine companion has expanded to all day, every day from June 1 through September 3o. Admission for dogs is $3, or purchase a Dog Membership and let your favorite pooch show their support of Tucson Botanical Gardens! For more info about Dog Days, click here!
- Summer Classes: Interested in learning something new? Check out the variety of Adult Classes we have available. Find inner balance with Tai Chi, try your hand at depicting native plants in watercolor, or attend a lecture on the pioneers of American Botany. To see the Class Schedule, click here!
- Dog Portraits in the Gardens: Friday, Jun. 9 and Monday, Sep. 11. Take advantage of this opportunity to have professional photos taken of your beloved companion in the Gardens’ lush landscape. Professional photographer Vicky Stromee generously donates her time to the Gardens each year to make this fun event a fundraiser for the Gardens. For more info about Dog Portraits, click here!
